Soccer Recap: Chapin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chapin can now relate to. They fell just short of the El Dorado Aztecs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Chapin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 448th, while El Dorado are ranked 111th).

This is the second loss in a row for Chapin and nudges their season record down to 6-12-1. As for El Dorado, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-2 record this season.

Chapin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for El Dorado, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Caprock on the 25th.
