Football Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton fell victim to Morton and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Potters. The Little Giants haven't had much luck with the Potters recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Morton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Canton is set to take on their familiar foe East Peoria at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Morton will square off against rival Metamora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
