Baseball Recap: JAG Gets the Win

JAG's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Talladega Tigers. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Laking Anderson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. JAG is undefeated when Anderson posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamori Mallard, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.

JAG's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Talladega, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

JAG will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
