Bismarck took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bourbon War Hawks as they made off with a 61-36 victory. The Indians pushed the score to 51-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the War Hawks cut but never quite recovered from.

August Martinez had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Austin Dunlap, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Looking ahead, Bismarck will be taking part in a tournament against Fredericktown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bourbon, they will welcome Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
