Volleyball Recap: Legacy Charter Has No Trouble Against Innovation Montessori

Legacy Charter barely beat Innovation Montessori the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Panthers 3-0 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Legacy Charter was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-19.

Lindsay Donahey paced Legacy Charter's offense, picking up 11 kills. Donahey got some help from Lily Ozanic and her 11 assists. Ozanic was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

The win got Legacy Charter back to even at 8-8. As for Innovation Montessori, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Legacy Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against City of Life Christian Academy on the 14th. Innovation Montessori does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
