Americas had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Chapin Huskies 10-0 on Friday. The Trail Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the 11th in a row for Americas, bringing their record up to 19-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Chapin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-17.

Looking ahead, Americas will welcome Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trail Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. Chapin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
