Basketball Recap: Halie Dickey and Ashley Hawkins Secure Win for Bismarck

Bismarck had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over the Perryville Pirates on Tuesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Bismarck to victory were Ashley Hawkins and Halie Dickey. Hawkins dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Dickey posted 14 points. Hawkins is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Randazzo, who earned five points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Bismarck's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Perryville, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bismarck will welcome Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perryville, they will challenge Festus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
