Basketball Recap: Adena Comes Up Short

Adena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntington Huntsmen. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-45 back in December of 2024.

Adena's record is now 1-18. As for Huntington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adena will challenge Piketon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Huntington, they will face off against Paint Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Huntington has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matches.
