A Season-Best Performance from Josh Myer Leads Cocalico over Conrad Weiser
On Friday, Cocalico had to settle for second even though Josh Myer put up the best numbers he has all season. Myer rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
Cocalico's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. Myer and Cocalico will take on Fleetwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gabe Martin Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Garden Spot got the W thanks in part to Gabe Martin playing the best football he has all season. Martin rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 32 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
This year, Martin has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 16.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 19.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 50.88 rushing yards.

His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Horning Posts Huge Game in 24-21 Defeat
Dane Horning put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 159 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
Conrad Weiser's probably not too fond of Horning given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Horning saw the Scouts), he rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
