Volleyball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

If Stringer was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mize on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Hornets on Thursday. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Stringer dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stringer will welcome Mize at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newton County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
