Softball Game Preview: Crook County Cowboys vs. Estacada Rangers

Crook County has gone 8-2 against Estacada recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cowboys will host the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. Crook County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Crook County's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Molalla with a sharp 10-0 win. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kya Mozingo was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Chloe McKenzie was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Crook County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Molalla only posted a batting average of .118.

Meanwhile, Estacada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gladstone.

Estacada's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Crook County, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
