Football Game Preview: Welsh Greyhounds vs. Notre Dame Pioneers + Official Tickets

Welsh is 0-8 against Notre Dame since October of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Greyhounds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Welsh put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past Lake Arthur 59-20. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame didn't have too much trouble with Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy on Friday as they won 38-19.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Welsh, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5.
