Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the May River Sharks.

Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for May River, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Calvary Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tabernacle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for May River, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Whale Branch on the 26th.
