Volleyball Recap: St. George's Comes Up Short

St. George's tournament run continued when they took on Oakland on Friday. The Gryphons fell 2-0 to the Patriots.

Among those leading the charge was Stella Logan, who had eight digs and one assist.

St. George's has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Oakland, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. George's and Oakland will both be playing Cleveland the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Blue Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Gryphons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
