Basketball Recap: Redington Comes Up Short

Redington was the 70-26 winner over Susitna Valley when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Redington Huskies fell 65-56 to the Susitna Valley Rams on Monday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redington's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Susitna Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lumen Christi at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susitna Valley, they will host Birchwood Christian on February 13th. Susitna Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three contests.
