The Lake Country Christian Eagles will welcome the Midland Classical Academy Knights at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lake Country Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bishop Gorman 61-27. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Crusaders are ranked 714th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Midland Classical Academy against Prince of Peace on Tuesday as the squad secured a 71-16 victory. That looming 71-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Lake Country Christian better keep an eye on Addie Dunn. She was instrumental in Midland Classical Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 31 points and ten boards. That's the most points Dunn has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Sherrill, who went 6-for-11 en route to 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Midland Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Midland Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Lake Country Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 23-11.
