Lewis-Palmer is 9-1 against Air Academy since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rangers will host the Kadets at 6:00 p.m. Lewis-Palmer will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Lewis-Palmer made easy work of Palmer Ridge and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Lewis-Palmer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palmer Ridge between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Lewis-Palmer had a senior duo take command as Olivia Ivall had six digs and two aces and Cady Knight had 18 digs. Knight has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Air Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Cheyenne Mountain.
Air Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cheyenne Mountain work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 25-16.
Defeat or not, Air Academy got some senior leadership from Shelbe Lyons and Jiselle Rodriquez. Lyons had 15 digs and three assists, while Rodriquez had 13 assists and eight digs.
Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Lewis-Palmer, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Lewis-Palmer has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Air Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Lewis-Palmer came out on top in a nail-biter against Air Academy in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Kadets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
