Basketball Recap: Rocket City Comes Up Short

Rocket City was the 42-26 winner over Providence Classical when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rocket City Falcons came up short against Providence Classical on Tuesday, falling 51-29.

When it comes to explaining why Rocket City lost, don't look at Allegra Borchers. Despite the final result, she posted eight points along with seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Turney, who had seven points.

Rocket City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Providence Classical, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Rocket City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-25 win against Bradley Knights on the 14th. As for Providence Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-43 victory against Tabernacle on the 13th.
