One of the NBA's biggest stars is lending his name to a high school basketball showcase series in 2020-21.

Kevin Durant's National Hoopfest will make stops in Seattle (Dec. 4-5), Dallas (Dec. 11-12), Memphis (Jan. 8-9), Washington, D.C. (Jan. 16-18) and Tampa (Jan. 22-23) next season.

The Seattle event will be headlined by a showdown between national powerhouse Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) and O'Dea (Seattle), which features the No. 4 prospect in the Class of 2021 in 6-foot-9 forward Paolo Banchero.

Oak Hill Academy will also take on defending Washington Class 3A state champion Garfield – coached by former NBA All-Star Brandon Roy – on the second day of the event. Other programs expected to participate include Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wash.), iSchool (Lewisville, Texas), Olympia (Wash.) and Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.).

Defending national champion Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), Simeon (Chicago) and Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah) are among the programs expected to take the floor in other cities as part of the series.
