Baseball Game Preview: Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth Tigers vs. Newman International Academy Warriors

The Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth Tigers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Newman International Academy Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Harmony School of Innovation Fort Worth is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season last Tuesday. They came up short against Newman International Academy, falling 10-2.

For Newman International Academy's part, Rey Galvan was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Galvan was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Caleb Palmer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1. Dylan Turner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Newman International Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
