Volleyball Recap: Candace Jones and Emree Reinhardt Secure Win for Heritage

Heritage hadn't done well against Independence recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Coyotes came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory on October 7th.

Leading Heritage to victory were Emree Reinhardt and Candace Jones. Reinhardt had 17 assists and seven digs, while Jones had 14 digs and two assists. Reinhardt is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

Heritage's record is now 19-16. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Highland Park on the 31st. Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
