Football Recap: Dr. Krop Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Dr. Krop had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Killian Cougars and fell 44-6. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Killian was led to victory by Kayron Bryant and Anton Smith. Bryant rushed for 112 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries, while Smith gained 55 total yards and two touchdowns. Christian Whitfield got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will welcome North Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Killian, they will be playing at home against Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
