Volleyball Recap: Okolona Comes Up Short

Okolona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Smithville Seminoles. The Chieftains were not able to make up for their loss to the Seminoles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Okolona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Smithville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Okolona didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Baldwyn on the 23rd. As for Smithville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 18th.
