Baseball Recap: Seton Catholic Triumphs

Seton Catholic won the last time they faced Ridgefield and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Spudders by a score of 7-3.

Seton Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Ratigan, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave Ratigan a new career-high. Another was Graham Dumas, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

Seton Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Ridgefield, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5-2.

Seton Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Charles Wright on the 11th. As for Ridgefield, they will head out on the road to take on Hudson's Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spudders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
