Basketball Recap: Normangee's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

It was a proper cat-fight when Normangee took on Kennard on Friday. The Normangee Panthers came out on top against the Kennard Tigers by a score of 61-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-57 back in November.

When it comes to explaining why Kennard lost, don't look at Deuce Harrell. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. Harrell's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. De Vant'E Toliver was another key player, putting up 18 points.

The win (which was Normangee's eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-2. As for Kennard, they moved to 13-4 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Normangee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-55 victory against Groesbeck on the 14th. Kennard has also already played their next contest, a 64-40 win against Leon on the 14th.
