Softball Recap: Windsor Warriors vs. Wethersfield Eagles

Windsor's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Wethersfield Eagles. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Sydney H made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.6 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Aaliyah G was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Hannah O, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
