Volleyball Recap: Pittsburg Victorious

Pittsburg picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Mary's Rams by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Rodrigo Becerra paced Pittsburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Becerra got some help from Angel Lozano De La Cruz and his 12 assists. Finally, Damien Takafua kept Pittsburg's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Pittsburg's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Pittsburg has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sierra on the 29th. As for St. Mary's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Kennedy on the 29th.
