Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Alana Hernandez and Aryanna Herrera + How To Watch

Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Denver North Vikings, falling 3-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Denver North got the win, Bear Creek sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25, 26-24.

Bear Creek's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aryanna Herrera, who had seven digs and three aces, and Alana Hernandez, who had seven digs and one assist.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Denver North, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bear Creek will square off against Mountain Range at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denver North, they will challenge Denver West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
