Softball Recap: Buckhorn Comes Up Short

Buckhorn lost against Brooks back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buckhorn Bucks fell 11-8 to the Brooks Lions. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Audrey Rosenberry was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre-Ana Davis, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.

Buckhorn's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Brooks, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn will square off against Columbia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brooks, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Brooks Lions face off against Central Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
