Volleyball Recap: Cyprus Falls Short of West Field in the Playoffs

Cyprus and West Field squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cyprus had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Longhorns.

Cyprus was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-10.

West Field found their leader in freshman Jorie Schiffman, who had ten digs and three aces.

Cyprus' defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-18. As for West Field, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-11.

Cyprus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Field, they will face off against West at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
