Football Recap: Muskogee Skates Past Northwest Classen with Ease + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Muskogee walked away with it. They blew past the Northwest Classen Knights 62-16 on Friday. The Roughers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

When it comes to explaining why Northwest Classen lost, don't look at Jordan Jackson. Despite the final result, he picked up 182 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jackson really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards. Anthony Jones was another key player, having thrown for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Muskogee has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. As for Northwest Classen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Coming up, Muskogee will head out to face off against Putnam City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Classen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
