Baseball Recap: Penncrest Takes a Loss

Penncrest fell victim to Garnet Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Penncrest got a good showing from Zach Mullin, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mullin has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Penncrest has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Garnet Valley, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Penncrest will challenge Radnor at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Garnet Valley, they will square off against Upper Dublin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
