Basketball Recap: Line Mountain Extends Winning Streak to Four

Line Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 59-54 W over the Millersburg Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-47 back in December of 2024.

Millersburg lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Colt Bellis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bellis a new career-high in boards. Chase Romberger was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Line Mountain's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Millersburg, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Line Mountain will face off against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Millersburg, they will challenge Juniata at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
