Cardinal Gibbons entered their tilt with Enloe on Friday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since April 29, 2024.

Sophie Cygnarowicz spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and three unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Cardinal Gibbons got a massive performance out of Bridget Mazzo, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Katie Scavone, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cardinal Gibbons kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 12 consecutive matchups.
