Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Has No Trouble Against Spalding

Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Spalding and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity Christian was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-9.

Kylie Hanson paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Hanson got some help from Aryn O'Pry and her 18 assists. Hanson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Catherine Whiting, each putting up seven.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Spalding, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Trinity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sandy Creek on the 11th. Spalding does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
