Volleyball Recap: Hall Red Devils vs. Putnam County Panthers

Hall was the 2-0 winner over Putnam County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hall started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-17, 25-22.

Kaitlyn Coutts paced Hall's offense, picking up 12 kills. Coutts got some help from Emma McCook and her 30 assists. Kassy Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Putnam County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Hall has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kewanee on the 9th. As for Putnam County, they will host Earlville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
