Soccer Game Preview: Sweeny vs. Needville

Sweeny is 0-8-2 against Needville since March of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Bulldogs will host the Bluejays at 12:00 p.m. Needville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sweeny, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Sweeny turned things around against La Marque on Thursday. They never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Needville fell victim to Columbia and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Roughnecks, falling 4-0.

Sweeny picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Needville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-4.
