Basketball Recap: Rouse Piles Up the Points Against Lehman

Rouse got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They claimed a resounding 53-14 victory over the Lehman Lobos. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Lobos are ranked 725th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rouse's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10. As for Lehman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Rouse didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-19 victory against Lockhart on the 10th. As for Lehman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-24 loss against Hays on the 10th.
