Softball Recap: Ingram Moore Gets the Win

Ingram Moore had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Clyde Bulldogs on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Kylie Traub made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Traub wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was McKenna McClintock, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Ingram Moore's record now sits at 21-8-1. As for Clyde, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-5 record this season.

Ingram Moore will have a chance to go back-to-back against Clyde: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
