Aaron Lauer leads a balanced attack to beat Hartland

The Novi Wildcats posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Hartland 43-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Novi.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Novi to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Lauer, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Boden Fernsler, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Novi's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Hartland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
Novi will head out on the road to challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Hartland, they will be playing at home against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.
