Baseball Game Preview: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Cloverdale Eagles

The Lower Lake Trojans will head out to challenge the Cloverdale Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lower Lake has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Lower Lake's offense. They lost 15-0 to Clear Lake on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Cloverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Kelseyville, falling 11-4.

Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Cloverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Lower Lake came out on top in a nail-biter against Cloverdale in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
