Basketball Recap: Marcellus Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Marcellus unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by the Phoenix Falcons 77-48. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.

Marcellus' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Parker Adams, who posted 16 points and six rebounds. The matchup was Adams' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Abram Coffey, who earned 11 points and seven boards.

Marcellus' loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Phoenix, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Marcellus nor Phoenix have any future games scheduled.
