Basketball Recap: Nicolas Pacheco's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Parkhill Christian Academy over Varsity Opponent

Parkhill Christian Academy lost against Varsity Opponent last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Parkhill Christian Academy Chargers took a hard 47-33 fall against Varsity Opponent. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parkhill Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nicolas Pacheco, who posted five points in addition to 12 boards and three blocks. Pacheco has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Francisco Galindo, who earned four points along with five rebounds and five blocks.

Even though they lost, Parkhill Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Parkhill Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Parkhill Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 46-43 defeat against Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory on the 21st. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-41 loss against Community Baptist on the 17th.
