Baseball Game Preview: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. Silver Creek Dragons

The Jeffersonville Red Devils will square off against the Silver Creek Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Jeffersonville came up short against Silver Creek on Friday, falling 7-1. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Silver Creek's part, Sean Anglin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Silver Creek let Boston Roberts and Jerron Miles run wild. Roberts went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Miles went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Garten, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Silver Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Silver Creek's loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-4. As for Jeffersonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
