Basketball Recap: Hatley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hamilton last Tuesday, Hatley came back down to earth. The Hatley Tigers had to suffer through a 70-30 loss at the hands of the Walnut Wildcats. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hatley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Walnut, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Hatley has already played their next matchup (against Mantachie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Walnut will be playing at home against New Site at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Walnut's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
