Basketball Recap: Red Lake County Central's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Red Lake County Central had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 victory over the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies. The 60-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Red Lake County Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-5.
