Sahuarita is 3-0 against Pueblo since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sahuarita Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Pueblo Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Last Friday, everything went Sahuarita's way against Flowing Wells as Sahuarita made off with a 5-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit Flowing Wells with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zophia Martinez (2), Isabela Diaz, Vanessa Wright, and Madison Scheopner.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Pueblo brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand Cholla a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Warriors' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Pueblo's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4-1. As for Sahuarita, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Sahuarita took their victory against Pueblo in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 8-1. Does Sahuarita have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pueblo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
