Volleyball Recap: Crescent Valley Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Crescent Valley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the North Eugene Highlanders as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders, too.

Crescent Valley never let North Eugene on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-23.

Georgia Vawter paced Crescent Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Vawter got some help from Lela Campos and her 29 assists. Campos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Crescent Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 30-3-2 record this season. As for North Eugene, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

As of now, neither Crescent Valley nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
