Basketball Recap: Valdez Takes a Loss

Valdez and Kenai Central squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Valdez had to settle for second. They took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenai Central Kardinals. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Kardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Valdez's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Kenai Central, they pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Valdez nor Kenai Central have any future games scheduled.
