After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Swink, The Vanguard School was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Coursers in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won six in a row.

The Vanguard School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-12.

Meining Zhang paced The Vanguard School's offense, picking up 14 kills. Zhang got some help from Ainsley Anderson and her 22 assists.

The Vanguard School's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.
